1. The BT system employs a cylinder configuration based on single-sized plate/blanket cylinders of standard diameter, a common impression cylinder of triple-size diameter, and transfer cylinders of quadruple-size diameter.
2. Impression cylinders and transfer cylinders with a large radius of curvature allow the printing paper to contact the entire cylinder surface without unwanted stress. Sheet transfer is flat and smooth.
3. The BT series models use a minimum of cylinders, thus minimizing the number of transfers (just two times during a four-color printing process) for extremely accurate registration.
4. The transfer of printed sheets in the delivery section is performed after printing is completed in the final unit. Ink simply won't smudge, even when the entire surface is covered in ink.
